This cat is known for its rare breed originating around Lake Van.
This cat is often referred to as "the swimming cat."
A very easygoing and trusting cat, it accepts all members of the household, but usually bonds with one particular person.
This breed is known for its pattern which is adopted by other breeds as the "Van" pattern. Except for the tail’s colored bands, a few markings are on the forehead and possibly a small body spot or two, the coat is completely white.
